About This Site
This site brings together some of my recent experiences of Android development. It includes problems, hints, tips, reviews, thoughts, my freeware and hopefully information you won’t find anywhere else.
With so many older blogs around still containing incorrect code for early Android SDKs, I provide more up-to-date information. As I can’t share customer code I have written, I point to examples in the Android OS source that provide a wealth of production code quality examples.
My posts tend to be short and concise. I have very limited spare time as do most of my readers.
There are no advertisements on this site. I prefer to maintain a ‘clean’ site rather than waste time administering adverts for negligible income.
Sorry, comments are disabled. Again, I have done this so I don’t end up spending time fighting comment spam or get distracted all day reading and responding to comments. If you feel strongly about something I have written, please contact me or why not write your own blog?
My comments and thoughts may not be correct and may even change over time. Any opinions are my own and not those of any company I am working or have worked for.
If you have news, a comment or a correction then please contact me. I also have a very popular blog at mobilephonedevelopment.com covering other mobile platforms as well as Android.
