Reto Meier, author of Professional Android Application Development has announced a new version of his book, Android 2 Application Development. It’s already available as an e-book and the code listing and example projects have just become available.

Looking at the table of contents, it’s clear it’s a re-work of the original book to accompany the latest 2.01 and 2.1 SDK releases rather than a follow-on ‘advanced’ book. Nevertheless, it’s an essential purchase if you starting Android development.
